DI Robert Mair is teaching Sustainable Design and Construction as Senior Lecturer at the Institute of Architecture and Planning at the University of Liechtenstein. At the University of Sciences in Chur he is instructing a multi disciplinary timber construction studio.
As Jurymember of Constructive Alps, he lives and works in a hands-on reconstructed old farmhouse in Styria. As a researcher he is part of the interreg project on Low Tech Buildings around lake constance. 

Current Activity
Dipl.-Ing. Robert Mair is Senior Lecturer at the Institute of Architecture and Planning at University of Liechtenstein, where he is teaching building construction, tectonics as well as sustainable design for 11 years now. In Switzerland at the HTW Chur Mair is leading a Timber Construction and Design Studio with local Architects and Civil Engineers in an integrative Team. Trained as an Architect at the Technical Universities of Graz and Delft, he was in practice in leading architectural offices around Europe and as an independet designer. Since the initial idea of an award in sustainable renovation and construction in the Alps, he is part of the core-team, and was called as full jury member. Beside experimental work as holistic craftsman, he is researching on low-tech building solution in an international cooperation.
